KISU does not accept students w i t h a history of drug, alcohol or weapon possession, or abuse. KISU does not accept students who have been expelled from their previous school for serious behavioral issues (including physical violence and bullying). KISU reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant, at its sole discretion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>B.<\/strong> KISU only admits students with minor\/mild Learning Support Needs. Secondary (Ages11 \u2013 18years)<\/h5>\n<p>[\/stm_title][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;fadeInDown&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1619190297344{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul style=\"line-height: 1.6;\">\n<li>Students coming from International Schools using the ENC, US, PYP, MYP or other internationally recognized\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0curriculum will be placed according to previous level or class \u2013 providing this does not place a student more than one year above or below their normal cohort.<\/li>\n<li>Students coming from local educational systems aged 11 years or above on the date of entry\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0will be tested\u00a0for\u00a0placement.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0This\u00a0testing\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0carried\u00a0out\u00a0immediately\u00a0prior\u00a0to\u00a0entry\u00a0and\u00a0is\u00a0for\u00a0the purposes\u00a0of\u00a0placement\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0most\u00a0appropriate\u00a0year-group,\u00a0taking\u00a0academics,\u00a0maturity\u00a0and previous\u00a0education\u00a0into\u00a0account.\u00a0These\u00a0placement\u00a0tests\u00a0are\u00a0not\u00a0intended\u00a0to\u00a0be\u00a0used\u00a0for\u00a0selection\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0most\u00a0appropriate\u00a0English\u00a0or\u00a0French\u00a0class,\u00a0but\u00a0may\u00a0be\u00a0used\u00a0to\u00a0define\u00a0the\u00a0appropriate\u00a0Maths set.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Secondary-aged students testing 2 years or more above or below their expected level may not be accepted for entry into KISU, if it is felt that this placement would be inappropriate for social or other considerations.
