There are two libraries with approximately 27,000 books in total; one library for Early Years and Key Stage 1, and the main library for Key Stage 2 and Secondary.\u00a0 Through the use of exciting displays, children are encouraged to enjoy reading for pleasure.<\/p>\n

Libraries are the hub of our school and they are extremely well stocked with resources. They are particularly successful in providing a warm and comfortable environment for reading and information sourcing. These libraries also provide access to a variety of literature in other languages, particularly Spanish and French.[\/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion c_icon=”chevron” active_section=”0″ collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”View More” tab_id=”View-More”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

There is always a librarian\u00a0 to assist with finding information from the different resources in the libraries. The main library is open from 8.00am\u2013 4.00pm on weekdays and 9.00am-2.00pm on Saturdays. There are a number of computers installed in the main library. The Reference Section has a wide range of selected resource materials where teachers, children and parents all have access. In the Early Years and Key Stage 1 library, there is a stock of general reading and guided readers for primary students; Oxford Reading Tree, Rhymes World etc. These are also used by teachers in their classes according to different levels of reading.<\/div>\n
