Dan Grimshawe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Lancaster University, which included a study abroad year at Binghamton University, New York, and went on to complete a PGCE in Art and Design at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Prior to joining KISU in 2019, Daniel taught Visual Arts, Graphic Communication, and Photography in Kuwait and the United Kingdom.
In his leadership roles, Daniel believes that every child should experience a balanced education that blends academic excellence, creativity, and personal wellbeing. He oversees the strategic direction of the Secondary School, ensuring the curriculum remains relevant, challenging, and responsive to the demands of an ever-changing world.
His educational philosophy centres on creating safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environments where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Daniel champions personalised learning and values strong partnerships between teachers, parents, and the wider community. He is dedicated to shaping learning experiences that create holistic development, sharpen critical thinking, and nurture global awareness in every student.
