For the past ten years, I have been an Early Years Educator, and what a journey it has been!
After my first year of teaching, I naively believed I had learned all there was to know. But I quickly realized that every year brings new experiences, fresh challenges, and endless opportunities for growth.
Having taught in multiple international schools across three different countries, each following distinct curriculums, I’ve had the chance to develop and share my own unique ‘teaching personality’. I now have the privilege of teaching at a school I attended as a child, formally called Kabira, where I was once a 5-year-old student.
As an educator, I am deeply passionate about learning through play while ensuring every child reaches their academic potential. Learning should be engaging and enjoyable! I’m also dedicated to fostering children’s communication and language development—an area that can sometimes be overlooked. I take pride in teaching phonics and creating a stimulating learning environment that inspires curiosity and growth. Every child I meet teaches me something new, and that continuous exchange of learning keeps me energized.
As a leader, I believe in leading by example, promoting open communication, and embracing collaboration. Together, we strive to educate each child as a whole, educating today’s children for the world of tomorrow!
