My name is Mr. Cobus, and I am incredibly excited to join the KISU community as the KS2 Coordinator/Primary teacher. I have been working in education for the past 15 years, serving in roles ranging from homeroom teacher to Head of Primary. Teaching has also given my wife and me the opportunity to experience different cultures and become part of amazing communities in South Africa, South Korea, Oman, and currently Tashkent. I strongly believe that education begins with building meaningful relationships and genuinely caring for students, because a happy child is always more engaged in learning. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family, my wife, Mrs. Anina, who will also be joining KISU next year, and our 4-year-old son, Alexander. I feel most at home outdoors, whether camping, fishing, trail running, or enjoying a round of golf.
